Microneedling

The microneedling technology was pioneered and perfected by Dr. Des Fernandes over 20 years ago. The world has turned to Environ’s Microneedling Instruments as the industry gold standard. Microneedling enhances the effectiveness of topical products, restores skin tightness, reduces uneven skin tone and texture, and reduces fine lines and wrinkles. It has been used for centuries in many cultures worldwide to restore the natural collagen lattice and regenerate elastin due to the induction of growth factors caused by a controlled injury. It provides a thicker epidermis by stimulating collagen, unlike other ablative and non-ablative techniques that stimulate a collagen III response (scar tissue). The results from microneedling are unmatched amongst other treatments due to its collagen I production and lack of scarring risks.
Microneedling is a great treatment for age prevention, enlarged pores, lifting and firming, scarring, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. A series of treatments is typically recommended for optimal results. This procedure can be performed safely on a weekly basis if desired.
